CUTS International Public Policy Centre to house similar facilities like Delhi’s India Habitat Centre

Rajasthan Recently launched CUTS International Public Policy Centre (CIPPolC) will be built near Jagatpura having similar facilities like Delhi’s India Habitat Centre with added features and amenities, said Pradeep S Mehta, secretary of the body’s governing council.

As per a report in Times of India, the facility is being developed with an investment of Rs 50 crore and is expected to be completed by the end of 2016, but Mehta said that national centre on public policy has already started working and has conducted two events on ‘reinventing Planning Commission’.

In order to raise the visibility of the city, the new centre will house state of the art amenities including exhibition area, auditorium, seminar facilities, business lounge, library, health and fitness centre, guest rooms, swimming pool, dining area and a business centre in an environmental friendly building.

CIPPolC has drawn a balanced mix of stalwarts to pace up the activities of the centre. This includes former finance secretary of India Ashok Jha as chairman, renowned economist Bibek Debroy as the vice chairman of the council.
